Wreaths Across America, 2017
It was another year that the North Dakota Veteran’s Cemetery experienced full coverage with the Wreaths Across America. Coming out to show their support, local citizens took a bit of the day on Saturday, Dec. 16, to place a wreath on each grave stone at the cemetery. As a special act this year, each individual was also asked to say the name of the individual on each stone, so that their memory would continue to live on.
We have been attending this event for the last few years, and as a way to give back to the community that has supported us so much, we have offered to take photos of individual gravestones. This year, we took more than 100 photos of various gravestones. Feel free to use them, to download them, and if you want, print them. They are yours to use for individual use. We do ask that if you do share them, give the photographer, Dustin White, credit, and if you want to use them for commercial use, contact us at Editor@MidwesternScout.com.
Each year, we are also asked if there is a way to pay for these photos, or give a gift. This year, for those who want to give something (and please do not feel obligated, as this is something we do for the community), we are offering donations to help our editor’s two year old son, who is currently battling Stage 4 cancer (Wilm’s Tumor). If you’d like to donate, you can do so at www.gofundme.com/kyle-whites-story or by check to:
